Vinyl (Westlake Royal) is more affordable, lighter, and easier to install — great if budget and easy maintenance lead. James Hardie fiber cement is thicker, fire-resistant, more impact-resistant, and lasts longer in coastal/extreme climates. Hardie typically costs more upfront but holds its color and shape longer. We install both and will give you a no-pressure recommendation based on your home.
Most full-home siding projects take 1–3 weeks depending on the size of the home, weather, and product choice. We work on one home at a time so your crew is dedicated until the job is done.
It can — insulated vinyl and properly installed Hardie both add an R-value to your exterior. We won't promise a specific dollar amount, but most customers see a noticeable difference in cold-weather comfort in the first winter.
James Hardie ColorPlus® comes with a 15-year limited warranty that covers BOTH the paint finish AND the labor to fix it if it fails. That's unusual in the industry. We handle the claim if it ever comes up.
